So I know I’ve written alot about the benefits of coffee and chocolate, primarily because I love both. But I know I need to be straight about both sides of this over-consumed, addiction we have in this country and probably the world.
We know about some of the good: helps cognitive function, energy, loaded with antioxidants and enhances mood to name a few.
And some of the bad: can raise blood pressure, heart rate, cause insomnia, diarrhea and anxiety.
So what is it? Does it have enough health benefits to outweigh the concerns and symptoms that some people face?

As with any product used to excess, consumers often wonder about the health consequences of caffeine.
