Imagine being able to detect the presence of breast cancer before a tumor forms. It could be as easy as spitting in a cup.

We are already able to test multiple hormones via saliva. In the near future, we may be able to use this medium in diagnosing cancers in its earliest stages, before tumors have developed and metastasized.

US scientists have found human saliva carries markers of breast cancer and have opened the door to the possibility that one day your doctor, or even your dentist, could do a simple saliva test for the disease….
