The lifetime risk of any woman getting Breast Cancer is about 1 in 8, although the lifetime risk of dying from breast cancer is much lower at 1 in 28.

Breast cancer survivors have one more thing to face which is the increased risk of developing other cancers. Researchers cannot explain why this occurs.

Some say breast cancer treatment, hereditary and environmental factors are just a few of the possible reasons behind this finding.
