One of the best books I have found to help those with physical and mental distress is “Yoga: The Iyengar Way” by Silva, Mira and Shyam Mehta. It includes courses that enable readers to practice systematically, from beginners to advanced. It also has remedial programs that can assist in alleviating certain medical conditions.
