Salmonella Tomato Warning Expanded

You may continue to miss those juicy summer tomatoes alittle while longer.
Seventeen states have been linked with tomatoes contaminated with a bacteria known as Salmonella. This is a terrible type of food poisoning that can cause diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting. It is especially concerning for children and the elderly.
Check out this site and see if your state is on the list of tomatoes to avoid.

The number of people sickened by a salmonella outbreak linked to tomatoes has grown, and the suspect tomatoes are coming off restaurant menus and store shelves. Now, the CDC reports that at least 167 people in 17 states have been infected with Salmonella Saintpaul, the salmonella strain involved in the current outbreak….
