This is a great article to read as we venture out in the sun this summer. If you are like most people, picking up sunscreen with a high SPF number thats on sale is usually good enough to keep you from burning. But is it actually doing more harm than good??

About 3/4 of the products on the market not only fail to protect you from the dangers of the sun, but can actually enhance the sensitivity of those damaging rays. Lack of regulation seems to be the problem.

What does SPF (sunburn protection factor) really mean?

Read this article and then go to the recommended list of EWG (environmental working group) approved products to choose the right sunscreen to prevent burning and guard against skin cancer.
